I just read that November is NaBloPoMo!!

And then I promptly looked up what the heck that stood for.

I came up with National Blog Posting Month, which is also known as NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for authors.  It was established to encourage writers to just sit down and write every day.  It doesn’t have to be perfect and it doesn’t have to be epic, but you just have to write.

I’ve done this recently with my songwriting, and I felt that by the end of the month of consistent writing I not only had a ton of material to pull from and be inspired by in the future, but I had gotten those writing muscles back into shape and ready to do some amazing things.

So I’ve decided that, yes, I am absolutely going to participate in NaBloPoMo.  Because I have a ton of writing material saved up to share, because I need to start writing more than the twice a month rut I’ve gotten into, and because I could use a challenge.

But I am not going to type out NaBloPoMo too often.  Because even though I understand it now, I think it’s a crazy acronym.
